Hosted by Ole MIss and Tombigbee Electric Power Association Fiber: Students will learn basic splicing skills with technicians from Tombigbee Electric Power Association Fiber Team. Once the student has had basic instruction on fiber splicing techniques each will be given the opportunity to use their new skills.

The best splicers will be awarded Scholarships to Northeast MS Community College Fiber Technician Certification Program.

Participation in the Splicing Rodeo is free for North Mississippi High School Students, but space is limited.

Who Can Participate: High School Students living in the Mississippi TVA Region (32 Counties in North MS)
